Grand Scottish Prom - Glamis Castle - 14th of August - 2010
This must be one of the greatest events that Angus has to offer and even if you are not an avid fan of classical music this will be one of the best things you could possibly do when you are in Angus. Imagine sitting on the grass on a warm summers evening enjoying a drink with friends or family watching the sun set whilst listening to stunning classical music played live by the Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Add Glamis Castle as the backdrop and throw in a spectacular fireworks display to music as the finale and you are in for a truly wonderful evening. The event is held in August every year but even in August the Scottish weather can be very unpredictable so make sure that you have a waterproof on hand just in case. Tickets typically cost around £30 pounds and in our opinion are worth every penny!
